Okay y’all! So, I’m just gonna be real here. Some of you aren’t going to like what I’m getting ready to say. Do you really treasure God’s Word? Do you embrace the truth that you need to read and memorize it? Are you hungry to know and understand the Scriptures or are you satisfied with making the sum of your time in the Word an Instagram view of a verse created as a cute graphic meme? Recently, I spoke to some moms about how they don’t have time to read God’s Word or really spend time in intimate prayer. So, …
Smart Summer Strategies
Summer’s Here! Whoo hoo! Kids are out of school. No rushed mornings. Or, at least no homework or projects due. BUT….are your children controlling you? Or, are you building into them the following admirable traits? Personal Responsibility Do you want to raise a slob or someone who knows how to pick up after themselves? To the Mom Who is Barely Hanging On
When I was a young girl, all I wanted to be when I grew up was a mom. While my friends were making plans to have a career or be someone famous, I day dreamed of being a mom and what my family would look like. I smiled and nodded, “I’ve been reading through it for over four years now.” For more than four years I have been reading chronologically through the Bible. That green raggedy …
