HELP is ON the WAY

 Are you OVERWHELMED?  STRESSED? IMPATIENT? DEPRESSED?  “Help is ON the WAY!”  Isn’t that what we crave to hear? Isn’t that what we NEED to KNOW?   Psalm 33:20 assures us God “is our HELP and our shield.”  HOW is GOD my HELP?  He assures me that I’m not alone.  He comforts me that His eye is on me. He reminds me that my joy is in Him. He directs me with the promptings of His Holy Spirit.  He leads me in the way of truth which shields my children and me from Satan’s schemes of deception. It’s a new year and for me that often means digging into scriptures in a hungry way–for direction, strength and courage to do all that is before me.   Sometimes when I open the Word of God, I find that my mind wraps itself around something that it wants more of.
