What happens at a Better Together Conference? Since a picture is worth a million words….

“Better Together” is the name of The Mom Initiative Conference that we are hosting in churches across America. When I think of 2 moms who model being “Better Together,” I think of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Elizabeth. They were better together! After the angel announced to Mary that she had been chosen to give birth to the Messiah, she went to see Elizabeth, who was pregnant with John. Together they celebrated. “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!” Luke 1:42. “And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.” Luke 1:45. Sometimes we need another mom to encourage us and cheer us on. TMI is all about encouraging you, sweet mom.
Father, thank you for each sweet mom who visits The Mom Initiative. Thank you for Covenant United Methodist Church, Dothan, AL, for hosting our Better Together Conference and for all the moms who came. Bless each mom and equip her to raise children to know and follow you. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
