Easy, Fun, ETERNAL Impact

Spread the love

Kidz TimeKids Time Bible Verses A-Z is a simple, fast, FUN way to teach your children about Jesus.

“Mom, I think we’re going to spend the night.”  My husband, Keith and I were thrilled. Our daughter and her family live 45 minutes from us, and we love every chance to see them.  After everyone went to bed, I did what I used to do when our daughter and son were 5 and 3. I set up “KIDZ TIME.”  It’s a simple, easy to use devotional activity.

“E” Enter through the narrow gate . Matthew 7:13

“Welcome to Kidz Time!” I greeted our grandsons (ages 4 and 6) when they came into the kitchen. Of course, to get through the doorway to my open arms required some squeezing due to the 2 chairs that I had placed in the doorway.

As they squeezed through the chairs (representing the narrow gate), I discussed what “narrow” and “wide” meant; and how we can go to our Heavenly Father through Jesus, the narrow gate.

Then, they got to glue craft sticks to their Kidz Time “E” page to make a fence with a NARROW GATE.  Finally, the verse was printed in the space by our 6-year-old. Our 4-year-old got a little help from me.

As they glued, we practiced our Kidz Time verse, “Enter through the narrow gate.” I’m thrilled our 6-year-old grandson has already entered into salvation through Christ Jesus, and I look forward to our 4-year-old grandson entering through Christ’s open arms.

Do it NOW.

Kidz Time 1: Bible Verses A-ZHave you thought about taking a more active role to teach your children about Jesus? Do it today. It’s fun for both mom and child. It takes little effort and only a few minutes to do something of such eternal value. Kidz Time
