Have you ever heard someone say something like that? As if what you do on a daily basis as a wife and a mother isn’t significant and doesn’t involve work…
We live in a world where the culture has created a skewed view of the significance of the role of a mother. In an attempt to make women feel like they can ‘have it all’ they have heaped burdens on us that we shouldn’t have to bear and deemed what a woman does in her home and with her family as insignificant.
Hey moms… lean in… I want you to know something…
WHAT YOU DO MATTERS!
What you are doing RIGHT NOW matters!
YOU ARE MOLDING THE HEART OF THE NEXT GENERATION!
YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE THE LEADERS OF THE NEXT GENERATION and YOUR DILIGENCE to RAISE THEM WELL MATTERS SO MUCH MORE THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE!
That’s one of the reasons I wrote The Making of a Mom.
I wanted to provide a resource to help moms embrace their God-given role with passion and the confidence to know that the Lord has appointed them to this very sacred role of motherhood.
When I wrote The Making of a Mom, it was heavy on my heart to come alongside each one of you sweet moms and help you embrace your crazy, beautiful, amazing, significant role as a mother.
And those little eyes that watch your every move are depending on you to realize how valuable you are.

Oh, sweet mom… every second of your mom journey matters! Breathe it in, embrace it, cling to the calling God has placed upon your life as if it is the most significant thing you can do… because it is.
